Whilst in the midst of a job transition myself, currently in week 2 of my new role, I have always felt it was essential to nurture existing connections while actively seeking out new ones & this is now more important than ever as I navigate this new journey.

Being a part of industry associations such as MEA, attending industry networking events & conferences (such as Evolve, MEA state awards nights for example), becoming actively involved in committees, and online communities offer the perfect environment for networking opportunities, as these types of activities only strengthen & grow these crucial networks.. Moreover, investing in ongoing relationship-building endeavours, such as mentorship programs or collaborative projects, can strengthen bonds and foster a sense of community within one's professional sphere.
